Scarification

Lawns develop thatch (dead grass around the roots) which is best removed by scarifying once a year.

Aeration

Root growth for healthy grass is achieved by aeration, creating holes in the surface or removing “plugs” from the lawn so that air can access the root areas. Aeration also helps lawn drainage.
